Sibéal Davitt

Sibéal Davitt is one of Ireland’s leading sean-nós dancers. Having won TG4′s talent show ‘Glas Vegas’ in 2009, she went on to perform in Las Vegas and other noted venues and festivals including Electric Picnic, Celtic Connections and The National Concert Hall. She learned classical ballet, jazz and contemporary from the age of 5 and is known for mixing different styles of dance in her performances.

Sibéal has a keen interest in dance film and has been creating work since graduating from Trinity College Dublin in 2011. Her first dance film ‘Restless’ was made as part Coiscéim Dance Theatre’s broadreach dance programme and her most recent film ‘Trip-nós’ was commissioned as part of Dance Ireland’s ‘Minutes in Motion’
                                                                                       series of one-minute dance films.
